What I bring.
I work across the full ecommerce stack: from strategy and content to front-end build and analytics. The through line is the same regardless of the task: making the experience better for the customer and easier to manage for the team.
Below is an overview of my core competencies, the platforms and tools I work in, and how I tend to approach the work.
What I do well.
Day-to-day ownership of an ecommerce storefront: catalog management, product uploads, content publishing, promotional setup, and platform administration. Comfortable managing operations across BigCommerce, Shopify, and Magento, with experience integrating ERP systems including Acumatica, Oracle NetSuite, and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Designing and building landing pages, brand pages, collection hubs, and editorial layouts directly in HTML and CSS, without a developer in the loop. Work spans everything from wireframe to published page, including BigCommerce PageBuilder widgets, responsive layouts, and custom component design in Figma.
Building and executing content strategies informed by GA4, Google Search Console, and Merchant Center data. Experience optimizing for both traditional search and AI-driven referral traffic (GEO), including structured content, comparison tables, and FAQ formats that perform well in AI-generated answers. Strong track record turning data signals into editorial calendars and content briefs.
Writing product descriptions, buying guides, brand narratives, blog content, and UX copy in a voice that’s specific and editorial without losing clarity. Experience building scalable copy systems for large catalogs: standardized formats, dual-unit spec tables, and structured description templates that maintain quality across hundreds of SKUs.
Fluent in Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, and Google Merchant Center. Experience building dashboards to track SEO performance, AI referral traffic, conversion trends, and revenue attribution. Comfortable translating data into actionable recommendations and presenting findings to cross-functional teams.
Managing ecommerce projects from brief to launch: scoping work, setting timelines, and coordinating across Sales, Marketing, Buying, and operations teams to keep deliverables on track. Experience using Notion for task tracking, project documentation, and cross-team visibility. Comfortable initiating projects independently and driving them to completion with stakeholder input.
What I work in.
A working knowledge of the platforms and tools that make up a modern ecommerce operation, from storefront and CMS to design, data, and project management.
The approach behind the output.
I’m most useful on projects where the work spans more than one discipline. Strategy through copy through design through build is a natural range for me, and the output tends to be more coherent when one person holds the thread across all of it.
A lot of the projects I’m most proud of started with something I noticed rather than something I was asked to do. I bring findings to the right people, build the case, and work across teams to develop the solution. The output is collaborative; the initiative usually isn’t.
I care about how things look, but I care equally about what they do. Good ecommerce design isn’t decoration. It’s structure that supports a decision. The goal is always a page that’s both worth looking at and worth landing on.
Let’s find the right fit.
If you’re looking for an ecommerce manager who can move across strategy, content, and execution without losing the aesthetic, I’d love to connect.
